Abstract

A Modern Data Strategy Stage keynote on building data architectures that survive the AI-era load curve — covering resilience patterns, scaling decisions made under real cost pressure, and the operating principles JCorp uses to keep architecture aligned with strategy.

The session lays out three pressures the modern data architecture has to absorb simultaneously: volume from operational systems, latency from AI workloads, and cost from the elasticity that makes both possible. Each pressure is handled with a different design move; the talk argues the common failure mode is mixing them up. The closing third covers the operating discipline that lets those moves stay coherent quarter to quarter.
